about

"The Hound of Love is the "solo project" of Andrew Bassett (aka Jeans Wilder) from the Mean Jeans. While Mean Jeans is some sort of punk pop party music, The Hound of Love is more like an idiot with a bunch of drum machines and synthesizers. "Careful Houndy" was the debut tape, put out by Burger Records / Gnar Tapes in 2012. A lot of people complained that there were too many instrumental tracks on the 20 song album. Well those naysayers will be happy to hear that this new tape, "Heck No I Don't Listen To Techno", is COMPLETELY INSTRUMENTAL! (emphasis on the MENTAL!). TJ from Plastic Response and Andrew struck up an "internet friendship" and after some back and forth they decided to release some of the "techno" songs that Andrew had accidentally made on his computer during the Seinfeld commercial breaks, and were cluttering up his hard drive. So behold this brand new tape from Plastic Response Records, featuring the maniacal audio musings of a certified psycho. Buy the tape for someone you hate! Or download the album and use the worst song as a ringtone to annoy your friends and extended family! Do some fuckin' thing!"

All songs by Andrew Bassett.
Artwork by Ben Klevay.
Layout by Derek Stegall.
